How to join
We follow the ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming.
The Club will accept children from 5 years old that are complete non-swimmers. Once in the Club, we offer a “Club for Life” – that is, a child entering at 5 years of age can stay in the Club and go on to adulthood.
At present, the Club runs a waiting list.
You can email the required details to with your child’s details which will then be added to our waiting list. Or Alternatively you Please print out the form, complete it and pass it to a member of the Club. You can download the application form from the download links at the bottom of this page.
In order to “speed up” the process we carry out regular assessments of those on the waiting list. We will write or email you, with a date and time for the assessment. Once completed, the stage that your child has been assessed at will be recorded. When we get a space at the stage your child has been assessed at, we will then write and offer you a place.
Our membership runs from January to December, therefore all memberships have to be renewed by the end of January. If you join part way through the year, you will be charged a membership on a pro rata basis.
