Paignton once again travelled to Weston-Super-Mare for round 2 of the Arena League on Saturday 11th November. They faced much stiffer competition than in round 1, but rose to the challenge, coming in a comfortable 3rd place. The girls swam particularly well, with many holding their own when swimming up an age group. Particular mention must go to Caitlin Oakden for her swims in the Ladies' Open individual events, as well as to Sam Cole who made his Arena League debut. [ 79 more words ]
If you have a child that would like to learn to swim, or improve their swimming ability, Paignton Swimming Club can help.
We follow the ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming.
The Club will accept children from 5 years old that are complete non-swimmers. Once in the Club, we offer a “Club for Life” – that is, a child entering at 5 years of age can stay in the Club and go on to adulthood.
We also have a vibrant water polo section for all ages and abilities, come and give it a go!
